Office of the University Librarian
Anne Kinney, creator of the Chinese Text Initiative site, met with John Unsworth, Jennifer Roper and Wei Wang to discuss migration of the defunct extext site to a stable preservation state, with access to read the pages. Per the 9/18/2018 meeting, the Library agrees to save a local copy of the sites found via the Wayback Machine at: https://web.archive.org/web/20010406221142/http://etext.lib.virginia.edu:80/chinese/index.html , send the intro file on Lienu zhuan (https://web.archive.org/web/20010413135253/http://etext.lib.virginia.edu:80/chinese/lienu/browse/LienuIntro.html) to Dr. Kinney for updating and return, and provide access to a final preservation copy of the site with a permanent URL.
Only the one intro file will be updated and no other revisions will be done. All parties consider this the final action on this site.
