The Historymakers website decided initially to provide URLs for each subscribing institution.  For example:

https://virginia.thehistorymakers.org/

https://northwestern.thehistorymakers.org/

While they have different URLs, any subscribing member can access content at any of the URLs.

This alone, poses a problem in that it makes adding subscribers more difficult.
