In the following scopes:

• a particular item
• items with a particular characteristic
• all items

we want to be able to answer the following questions:

• how often was it accessed directly
• how often was it accessed as an embedded view
• in which pages/domains was it embedded
• how often was it discovered (or referred from) from which systems
• how many unique viewers were there

Additionally it would be useful to:

• produce a list of all items accessed for a given period with the number of views of each type.
• produce a list of referring (or embedding) sites with the number of total accesses
